I'll never return to this pharmacy. I'd used it for years, but several events proved I can't trust or rely on it. When it transitioned from a Rite-Aid to a Walgreens, managers/staff saw it fit to just randomly close the pharmacy one day, with no notice to customers. I had been in the day before to refill a medication my cat depends on to live. If I hadn't, I have no idea what I would have done the following day.

About two months ago, Walgreens pulled a similar instance, being closed two days in a row. I believe the first day was Christmas, but there was no notification given about the second closure. I stopped in five days later to pick up a prescription my doctor had called in, and was told that it wasn't ready because they were still catching up from being closed. The cashier acted like I was being unreasonable when I couldn't wait 20 minutes for the script to be filled - I had a conference call for work that I had to leave for. Getting through to talk to a pharmacist on the phone is (and always has been) almost impossible.

I pulled all of my prescriptions the next day and will never return.

I would give 0 stars.
They have managed to mess up so many prescriptions of mine. So unorganized. The pharmacy staff makes a mistake and then is rude and takes out their issue ON THE CUSTOMERS! I’ve had it done to me, and I’ve seen it be done to other people! It’s horrible!!! I changed my pharmacy because every time i went there to get medication, there was a negative interaction and then all I would see was a line of unhappy customers waiting patiently for their name to be called and not even be helped in a kind or even decent manner. It’s a shame. This place used to be different. Definitely not a place to have “trust” in like they say. That’s a joke. Don’t waste your money here

The pharmacy customer service aspect really needs improving. I go to pick up my script, it wasn't ready, I agreed to wait and she told me about 10 minutes. No problem, you could tell they were busy. In less than 10 minutes, I get an automated phone call from the pharmacy, telling me my script is ready. I get up to inform them of that and the same woman I just spoke to less than 10 minutes ago asked my name again and digs my script out of the bin. I just don't get it, someone was waiting for theirs before me and they called her name. It just tells me they lack good customer service skills to have already forgotten me within a 10 minute time frame. Considering switching to CVS, maybe they will remember I'm sitting in front of them, waiting on a script.

This has to be one of the worst pharmacy’s I have ever been to. I was on hold for a total of over four hours between calls being dropped or disconnected for no reason. I’ve been waiting for 6 days for a prescription to be filled, I called two days ago and they said it would be ready in an hour, now TWO days later I’m spending all my day trying to get ahold of them only to get fed up and drive there to see a sign saying the pharmacy is closed today. Why not leave that in the phone line so I wouldn’t have wasted my time and got all frustrated and angry for nothing. This is by far the worst pharmacy experience I have ever had and this is the third time. Never going back to another Walgreens in general.

Review by Sonya, not Nick. I am torn with this review and that is why I did three stars and not two. I believe the workers want to help but are probably stressed, and I believe that most of them are nice when they are not overworked. However, I had the hardest time recently trying to get someone on the phone in the pharmacy. I waited 15 minutes and then hung up. I then called back after two, and could not get the lady to understand that something was wrong with my account online and I could not change my second Covid shot appointment (which is what I was trying to do). She kept directing me back to the online account and told her three more times that it was not working. Finally, she was able to cancel my appointment, but did not offer to reschedule (which was the goal and she was the one talking about rescheduling). I know she wanted to get off the phone but now here I sit trying to get the online stuff to work so I can make another appointment for another day. I was so frustrated toward the end of the call that I did not ask to please reschedule, even though that is what the call was for. I know people are busy but it is exhausting to keep going back and forth for something this simple. I do not know if she did not understand what I was saying or if she acted like she didn't. Also, the Allendale (Cheshire Road location) which is the location for this review, does not have public bathrooms. I learned this after I got my first Covid shot and while I was waiting the 15 minutes that they ask you to wait after the shot, I needed to use the bathroom and I was promptly told by the cashier at the front that they did not have public bathrooms. I do not think this is a terrible location but it seems to me that the boundaries they have set with the public are so tight that you cannot get things accomplished. Please add a public bathroom and have more people working in the pharmacy so someone can help the customers more. Thank you.

Calling in a prescription is pointless. Even if you call in, refill on the app, or have a doc send in the refill days in advanced you will inevitably wait days and never get an update that your script has been filled. When you inevitably go into the store they will tell you "we're still working on it, do you mind waiting." Even though it should have been filled days ago. This happens to me and several other people that I've witnessed going through the same thing. If you're lucky they will fill in 20 minutes or so... Otherwise they will tell you that they are out and you have to wait a few days... Even if you put the script in a week in advance.

This pharmacy is an absolute disgrace since it became Walgreens. The lines are (literally) out the door. I just called to refill a prescription and was transferred to a pharmacist (no idea why) which resulted in me being on hold for 75 minutes. During that 75 minute stretch, the automated voice tells you EVERY 20 SECONDS that there are more than 3 callers ahead of. Finally at 6pm I had to hang up since that's when the pharmacy closes. I highly recommend finding a different pharmacy since this one is an unfunny joke. Completely and utterly disgraceful.

I only wish I could give less stars! After waiting for 3-4 minutes at the counter for the manager to finish an awkward (kinda rude) conversation with either corporate or the owners. She then hangs up and whisper complains to the cashier for another 3-4 minutes (still ignoring me). Then she decides its more important to go back and "check in a delivery" than help a customer (me) who has been waiting silently for almost ten minutes with a passport photo. The cashier then checks with the manager to find out what she can do to help, she was super nice, helpful and professional. The manager tells this cashier (to tell me) its going to be 20 plus minutes before she can help me. Apparently everyone else was too busy, and because she took a call she didn't like, waiting on customers WASN'T going to happen. I wonder if the owners know how bad the customer service is?
