I began with an entry level Audi and a visit to SCR Performance. I was so nervous to tune my vehicle, a total new guy to the performance auto world. Mark and Scott treated me with respect and gave me the same attention as the supercar customers. Scott has saved me big $money$ over the years with part recommendations. They also taught me a lot about my vehicles over the years. Bottom line is that they are honest. SCR Performance is the only shop I will use. They are true precision Performance shop that does any type of work you can ask for. They have a race team (meaning you know the work is correct or people can get hurt). Thank you all at SCR Performance- customer for life.

Please do yourself a favor and read all the 1 star reviews. I can 100% relate to their experience because it happened to me too.

Parts will be "accidently recycled" off your car and they will lie about it and try to hide it. At your expense. No making it right.
No honor or integrity with the owner Mark or Scott. They will leave you high and dry.
If you love you Audi stay far away from these guys!!!!!

I have been bringing my dual-duty (street / autocross) NB Miata here for alignments for years, after doing any suspension work. So when I rebuilt the suspension on my daily driver BMW E46 I also chose SCR, not only because of many previous positive experiences but because they know their BMWs. With minor suspension modifications (primarily for longevity, with the added benefit of performance), a nice "daily / street" alignment from SCR has even the least sporty E46 aside from an automatic one (AWD 2.5L wagon) feeling sharp and exciting on mountain roads.
As many car enthusiasts can relate to, I don't feel comfortable having shops do work on my cars. SCR is the exception. Best shop in NoCo. Bonus points for Cruiser, the emotional support dog who loves to hang out while you wait, and for the very cool Avants car magazines galore in the waiting room (I picked one up and opened it to a full article about my other passion - awesome road trip adventures in ancient Mercedes-Benzes).

I was highly impressed with my conversation with Scott. I was planning on getting custom rear stainless steel brake lines and have SCR install them. Scott told me that they really wouldn’t make a difference which would have been $300+ brake job for SCR. It’s rare to find that kind of honesty and integrity anywhere. Scott is pretty knowledgeable on both Subaru and BMW. I’ll definitely get my WRX tuned and dynod here once the manufacturer warranty is expired.

The guys at SCR performance are awesome! They aligned my custom suspension on my Hardbody and made it drive GREAT! It's never felt so good. They also answered all my questions when I was building the suspension, even though they totally didn't have to. The facility is clean, nice looking, and you can tell it is full of experienced technicians. I'll be back again for sure!

This shop came highly recommended by a neighbor to do performance and service work on my M2 Competition. After some suspension updates, I needed an alignment done ASAP. I gave them a call first thing Monday morning and to my surprise, they were able to get me in the same day.

They did an excellent job getting my alignment into spec and the owner even offered to give me a tour of the shop and their current project/race cars. After seeing what they've got going on, it's safe to say that these guys know exactly what they are doing. I'm happy I made the trek up there and I'm looking forward to working with them again in the future.

I can’t say enough good things about these guys. I bought a 2021 WRX last year and the engine spun a bearing prematurely. The dealership wouldn’t honor the warranty and I was struggling to find a shop that would replace the engine.

The guys were able to get the car in, replace the engine and share their vast knowledge of performance engines with me. Undoubtedly the best automotive shop experience I’ve ever had. I’ll always recommend this shop to anyone who needs quality work done.

Communication is okay usually. Depends on the person you get I guess. I have had several messages completely ignored before for weeks at a time which makes me question how things are ran. If it takes you weeks to look at a message and then not even reply with anything that is not a place I want to do business with.

Prices are extremely high here. Labor is already high compared to most other race shops but beyond that the part prices are crazy. I understand they need to make money on parts but it is the difference of buying it at home for $32 vs buying it there for $200, things like that. I get money is made on parts but a 6x mark up is pretty aggressive. I'm not sure the mark up is always that high here but that was my experience with the parts I needed.

I was willing to pay extra before because it seemed like they were doing good work, and I think they did do good work to be clear, but the communication for me is the major issue. If you cannot communicate effectively then everything else is moot for me.

Edit: I didn't mention this before but since the reply is asking why "good work" gets 2 stars, you broke things on my car during some of this work. Simple stuff. My side mirrors were electric folding and when I drove my car away they were floppy because someone there literally snapped them out back into place and didn't say anything to me about the issue when picking the car up. Even this was not enough for me to stop coming here, I figured everyone is an idiot sometimes with things and mistakes happen. I just am not willing to keep going somewhere where communication is gone.

Also notice in their reply they think the work was the issue when I was very clear about communication being the issue. That shows the levels of clear communication right there in my opinion.
